Last year, my husband and I were toying with the idea of going to Disneyland. We usually travel to Walt Disney World in Florida, but we have always wanted to branch out and see the other Disney parks. I was very overwhelmed when it came to the planning aspect as neither my husband or I have ever been to the West coast. I reached out to Katie right away because I knew she would help make the planning process go as smoothly as possible!
The next day, Katie got in contact with me and sent me quotes for a bunch of different hotels, both on property as well as neighboring hotels. She went over the ratings, amenities, and the distance to the parks! We ended up staying at the Tropicana Inn and Suites which was directly across the street from the entrance to Disneyland! It took us less than a minute to walk from our hotel to the parks! This hotel is also affiliated with Disney! So upon check in, we received a voucher for a Lanyard and a pin from the parks as well as 2 Disneyland luggage tags!
Our travel day was great as well! Aside from a few delays, we made it stress free! We had the option to take a Disney shuttle that drops you off at a bus stop outside of your hotel for a small fee. Unfortunately, the last shuttle leaves the airport at 8:00pm, and we arrived at 8:30pm. Katie wasted no time making sure that we still had transportation. She arranged for a shuttle service to pick us up outside of LAX. The ride to the hotel was very quick! We arrived in about 30 minutes!
Katie also went over everything Disneyland had to offer including park tickets, dining reservations, tours, fastpass, maxpass, and dinner packages! We decided to get a 3 day park hopper pass to maximize our time at the parks! We also bought the maxpass every day. This costs $15 per person per day and allowed us to get free downloads of all of our photopass photos and make our fastpasses via the Disneyland app on our phones. Katie also made a reservation for us to have preferred seating for Fantasmic at Disneyland park which included dinner at the Hungry Bear restaurant. I am so happy she recommended this because the view of Fantasmic was incredible!
This was one of the most magical vacations I have ever been on! For this being the first Disneyland vacation that Katie has ever booked, she definitely knocked it out of the park! She made herself available the entire time we were there just in case we had any questions or concerns. I will never book a vacation with anybody other than Katie!
